There was a dead body lying on the ground near him and a blood stained arrow was in his hand. The guard took the washerwoman to the emperor. The washerwoman saluted the emperor and started pleading for justice. The emperor picked up the arrow and saw that it had the royal seal on it. The emperor understood that this tragic incident was definitely perpetrated by someone from the palace.
